Description

Comprehensive Compliance Service to Ensure Your Defibrillation Device is Rescue Ready - 3 Annual Visits

Ensure your defibrillator is always rescue ready with our comprehensive servicing, performed by highly trained engineers. We offer both annual and one-off service visits to your premises, ensuring your life-saving equipment is always in optimal condition and ready for emergency use.

Visual inspection

Our engineers will carry out visual inspection of the defibrillator’s case, screen, buttons, and connections, checking for any cracks or damage that could pose infection control risks or impact functionality.

Identify and record any signs of deterioration or parts that may require replacement.

Check and record the pads' expiration dates, ensuring they are within the valid date range.

ECG and defibrillator tests using simulators to confirm accuracy

The engineers will test the patient monitor by connecting it to a patient simulator using ECG leads and defibrillator test leads, simulating both normal sinus rhythm and ventricular fibrillation to check the defibrillator’s response.

Test the energy output of the defibrillator at specific energy points, ensuring it is within the required tolerance levels.

Verify that the shock output energy levels are within acceptable ranges.

Check pacer function (if available) following service manual guidelines.

Check all monitor leads and acquire printouts (if applicable) to verify accuracy and sensitivity.

For devices with additional functions, check the NIBP system for leaks and accuracy at various pressure points, ensuring it meets specified standards.

SpO2 accuracy is tested using a simulator at multiple levels, confirming it stays within acceptable limits.

Verify that the sync time (if applicable) is within manufacturer specifications.

If applicable, run a self-test to ensure the device passes all internal diagnostics.

Safety tests for electrical connections and battery health

Switch on the device and test its overall functionality to ensure it's operational.

Confirm the defibrillator is suitable for its intended purpose, ensuring it's compliant and ready for use.

Record the battery level or verify that the device does not require a battery replacement.

Inspect for any loose electrical connections that could affect performance.

Perform an electrical safety test in compliance with IEC 62353 standards.

Detailed recording of device information and any required repairs

Record the make, model, and serial number using a PDA, creating a detailed log for future reference.

Assign a unique ID number and barcode to the defibrillator for easy tracking throughout its lifecycle.

Once testing is complete, ensure the defibrillator is labelled appropriately as either a pass or fail, and notify your site contact of any failed checks or issues that need addressing.

At the end of each service, we provide you with a detailed report, outlining all findings, recommended repairs, and confirming whether the equipment is suitable for continued use. This ensures full compliance with safety regulations and gives you the confidence that your defibrillator will perform reliably when needed most.

Stay compliant, stay prepared with our expert defibrillator servicing.
