Sterilization instructions:- Clean and sterilize the Cheek and Lip retractor before every use. Cleaning:- Immediately after use, thoroughly rinse the device with copious amounts of cool running water. Clean with soap and water. Visually check to ensure surfaces are clean and free from damage, stains and bioburden. Inspect device for visual damage, wear and tear or deterioration. Discard broken defective or worn-out products. After cleaning the product it can be disinfected by placing it in a container with 70% alcohol for 10 minutes. Sterilizing with Autoclave at 121° C for 15 minutes. Always follow your autoclave manufacturer instructions. It is the responsibility of the reprocess or to ensure that the reprocessing is actually performed using equipment, materials and personnel in the reprocessing facility to achieve the desired result. This requires validation and routine monitoring of the process. Likewise any deviation by the user from the instructions provided must be properly evaluated for effectiveness and potential adverse consequences.
