Philips HeartStart FRx AED Defibrillator Smart Pads II
Save time in an emergency by using the Phillips Smart Pads, designed for use on Adults, Children and Infants. The Smart Pads eliminate the need to purchase separate pads for each patient type, instead, when using on a child/infant under 55lbs use with the infant / child key. (Sold seperately).
Unlike other defibrillators, the HeartStart FRx features a unique infant/child key that allows you to use the same SMART Pads II for both adults and children. When the infant/child key is inserted, the defibrillator automatically adjusts the shock strength and guidance to provide the correct instructions for pad placement and CPR that are appropriate for an infant or child. As the user doesn't have to spend time switching pads based on the patient's age, vital time is saved meaning therapy can be delivered more quickly, whilst also saving on the expense of purchasing separate​ pads for adults and children. This unique feature means this defibrillator is particularly suited to nurseries, schools, play areas, swimming pools and other locations regularly used by adults and children.
The pads come equipped with a HeartStart-compatible plug for easy hand-off to ALS defibrillators with adapters and are packaged in a semi-rigid pads case for added protection.
