Infant/Child Key for the HeartStart FRx Defibrillator

Description

The Infant/Child Key is for use only with the Philips HeartStart FRx Defibrillator, when treating an infant or child who is under 55lbs or 8 years old and younger. When the infant/child key is inserted, the defibrillator automatically adjusts the shock strength and guidance, to provide the correct instructions for pad placement and CPR that are appropriate for an infant or child. As the user doesn't have to spend time switching pads based on the patient's age, vital time is saved, meaning therapy can be delivered more quickly, whilst also saving on the expense of purchasing separate pads for adults and children.

- Simply insert into the HeartStart FRx defibrillator. This automatically reduces the defibrillation energy and provides voice, visual instructions and CPR coaching specifically for treatment of infants/children
