Gelatamp white is a standard cubic sponge of animal origin, 10 x 10 x 10 mm in size. The sponge appears uniformly whitish in colour and with uniform porosity. Gelatamp white has the purpose of facilitating to stop bleeding and the formation of a haemostatic plug. Gelatamp white is absorbed within 3-4 weeks Indications Gelatamp white is made for reliable bleeding control in routine surgeries. Once saturated with blood, - - Gelatamp white promotes coagulation by assisting in the control of local haemorrhage and facilitating the formation of a haemostatic plug.
