They are particularly soft, biologically inert and chemically non-reactive. Unlike other synthetic monofilament sutures, the material is exceptionally well tolerated in the oral cavity. Also, PTFE sutures are ideal for limiting inflammation, bleeding and other side effects that can arise when bringing tissue edges together. Properties: strength very smooth tissue passage excellent biocompatibility biologically inert, so as to contain inflammation along the suture line monofilament comfortable and soft for patients.
